Shahidali started his career under the guidance of Naushad Sitarmaker and went off on his own a number of years ago.

The structures are well made and his attention to detail is very good compared to other Miraj makers so I'm happy to bring them to everyone.  Like with all the other sitars all final fitting and jawari is done here. The tone quality on Shahids instruments generally 1/2 open main bridge and nice responsive sympathetics.

7 main strings, 13 sympathetics. Modern phulia (grommets) and ebony bridges. Shellac/French polish finish. Top tumbi is natural and natural materials for the bridges and fittings. Comes with a fiberglass double tumba sitar case included and our standard accessories package.
